KnowAmmo is a purpose-built, crowdsourced network designed for individuals seeking information about local opportunities to buy rifle and pistol ammunition. The platform enables users to post ammunition listings for sale and search for listings available in their geographic area.

The client, a firearms enthusiast, struggled to find the best ammo deals. He wanted an app where users could buy, sell, and find ammunition near them.

Intelligenes developed a custom software solution tailored to the client’s specific needs. The platform features a React JS front-end application integrated with an ASP.NET Core back-end, along with a SQL database for data storage. 

The platform architecture was designed with scalability in mind, allowing for future feature expansions. The database efficiently tracks all ammo listings and user activity, while standardized API specifications ensure smooth data exchange between web services. 

To ensure smooth product delivery, DevOps practices were implemented, including source control management, continuous deployment, and integration at the end of each sprint.

The KnowAmmo platform was successfully launched and has received positive feedback from users. It has effectively connected ammo buyers and sellers, helping users find the ammunition they need in their area.
