Business Sherpa Group (BSG) offers business management consulting services to over 400 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their mission is to provide flexible, cost-effective solutions that help businesses address challenges related to limited resources and high consultancy fees.

BSG’s previous method for handling client data was manual, requiring numerous steps that were inefficient and prone to errors. This led to delays in moving from lead creation to client onboarding. BSG needed a streamlined, automated system to reduce these inefficiencies and minimize errors.

To meet BSG’s requirements, Intelligenes developed a Virtual Workspace using Microsoft Power Automate. This system automated and optimized the client onboarding and management process, integrating with Insightly CRM to pull essential data for lead creation. 

Key features included: 

• Microsoft Planner: For planning projects and tracking tasks. 

• Microsoft Teams: For enhancing employee collaboration. 

• DocuSign: To securely handle document approvals and signatures. 

• SharePoint Online: As the main database, leveraging BSG’s existing Microsoft tools. 

• Projector: For clients to monitor project billing and progress. 

Clients were given the ability to track project updates via SharePoint Online and billing details through Projector. 

With the new Power Automate-driven Virtual Workspace, BSG saw significant improvements in client and project management. The integrated tools helped reduce the time, effort, and costs associated with onboarding, replacing the manual process with a fully automated system. This allowed BSG to achieve greater efficiency and meet their operational goals more effectively.
